I am going to Vegas for the 1st time contained by July. Staying at Mandalay Bay. What are some accomplishments I should do?

Be sure to move about to the aquarium at Mandalay Bay. The swimming pool there is great.
It's already 110 degree & it probably won't be cool when you're here so pack & plan accordingly. It's $2 for a sm bottled dampen on the strip, so stock up when you can at gas stations or walmart, and you may consider just getting resembling a brita filter pitcher for your room if you're staying more than a couple days so that you can be sure to replenish when you're resting cuz the heat will dry you out even at hours of darkness.
Lasvegas.com has a place where on earth you can pick vacation theme & it gives you suggestions, so you should check that out.
I would suggest seeing shark reef (in MB--dress cool), the bellagio hose down show (free), the TI siren show(free), the NY NY roller coaster, the venetian canal tour, the stratosphere & the eiffel tower. There's also downtown, Fremont Street Experience, if you wanna round out the stay--leave your valuables at home.
We own like 8 cirque du soleil shows if you imagine you might wanna see them, you'll have to check their site for something that fits you. There are plentifully of shows in common & comedians headlining but everything is simply $100 per person... btw, phantom of the opus was scrummy!!
There are trips from here to the grand cyn, & there's the zoo, hiking & the weak west Bonnie Springs straight out of town on charleston...
For food, there are some ridiculous prices presently for some just desperate food. If you wanna splurge on a buffet, go to the Rio, the Wynn or the Excalibur & it will be around $40 per soul. Otherwise, pick what you know, try restaurants, snack or hit the food courts at each shopping place as you be in motion along... on the strip, there's the Fashion Show Mall, the forum shops at Caesars, the Outlet Mall & every major hotel/casino have their own stores/restaurants.

Vegas is alot of fun. You are going to enjoy a great time. The pool at Madalay Bay is huge. One thing that you should do at hours of darkness, take a shuttle from your hotel to downtown to Fremont Street. It is the imaginative vegas they have casinos and band playing music all darkness and when you look up they have this amazing oil lamp show. Its free and its called The Fremont Street Experience.
Depends on your interests, but there's something here for everyone. Protect yourself - sunscreen & marine are important if you're going to be outdoors contained by July.
If you like the outdoors, I recommend Valley of Fire park (N of Vegas almost 30 minutes, gorgeous - lots of movies get film there) and Red Rock Canyon (lots of hiking trails, hidden springs). There's also an outdated west show at Bonnie Springs, just long-gone Red Rock.
If you like shows, within are some affordable ones but you generally carry what you pay for - one of my favorites is Blue Man Group but I'm twisted :D
Someone else timetabled a lot of the free shows, those are fun to see. There are also the animated statues at the Forum Shops and the living statues at the Grand Canal Shops at the Venetian (If those be already mentioned, sorry). You can take a gondola ride at the GCS also, but I'm not sure of the price... $20 per personality, maybe? Dunno, not one of those things that I've feel the need to do.
Dining is FABULOUS here, along beside shopping. The outlet malls have stuff that you can't find within the regular malls, but the prices don't seem any cheaper on most of the items. I relish Fashion Show Mall a lot, it's my favorite. There's also an indoor amusement park at Circus Circus, not sure if it's any flawless - never been here. There are a bunch of rides on top of the Stratosphere also, along beside a roller coaster at New York, New York and another at the Sahara. If you want to test your stomach, try the ones lying on the Stratosphere... I get green only just watching!
Main thing - wallow in your stay and don't gamble more than you can afford to lose - we hold enough homeless folks here, don't need to make the addition of you to the soup lines ;-)
skip the buffets. the lines are long at all of them, and I've never have one above average, most are rather dry and not devout. Stick to regular restaurants.
I've never had a unpromising meal at any of the restaurants within New York New York, Rainforest Cafe in MGM is great.
construct sure you see several of the free water shows surrounded by front of Bellagio. This is my favorite thing to do contained by Vegas, EVER. Catch as many as you can, the TI show at Treasure Island is appropriate too, and free. See the Lions at MGM. the free circus acts surrounded by Circus Circus are a waste of time.

Things to remember:
1.Drinks are free when you’re gambling. Sitting at a tavern and playing a few dollars in a poker contrivance will get you a free drink. Sitting at a piece of equipment in the casino will procure you the same. Tipping the waitress or bartender a dollar or two will keep hold of her coming back. If you tramp up to the bar and demand drinks, you’re going to pay lots more, even for soda or bottled dampen.
2.Player’s Cards: Before you begin gaming, get a player’s card. Most places bestow sign up deals (a coffee cup, a free collation, assorted coupons). If you get a card where on earth you’re staying and you use it while you’re gambling, you can “save” the points and use afterwards toward your room when you check out. Some casinos will combine accounts for married couples, some don’t. I always procure a card in my autograph and ask for a second card. I play with one and my husband plays near the other. That way adjectives the points are going to one card, and accumulate faster. Plus … you’ll procure offers surrounded by the mail for your subsequent trip!
3.Beware of time-share people! As you put your foot through the hotels and along the strip, you’ll be approached by people who want to confer you free show tickets, free tours, free meals, etc. These are time-share sale people. They promise freebies contained by exchange for an hour of your time. I warn everyone in the region of this but some people only just don’t listen. A friend of mine decided an hour of her time be worth giving up in exchange for a show. So her and her husband standard, were put on a bus and taken to a “presentation” and weren’t bought vertebrae for SIX hours. Their only escape would own been to cart a cab spinal column to the strip but that would have be expensive and they wouldn’t have gotten their “free” show tickets. The best means of access to get these individuals to lose interest in you and verbs to the next soul is to say, “Thanks, but we’re going away tonight.”
4.Free Pulls: Some of the casinos offer “free pulls” on a special slot tool as you walk within the door. There are usually no strings attached, you pull the lever and win something. Usually it’s a knob ring or a hat; sometimes it’s a free buffet. Sometimes it’s a coupon for a “fun book” (a book of coupons for that casino). To achieve the fun book, you can be sure you’re going to have to tramp to a far, far corner in the casino. They want to go and get you WAY inside.
5.$40 for $20: Some casinos offer $40 surrounded by slot play for $20. What they don’t tell you is that it’s on a mound of “special” machines, and you can’t cash out for change. Instead, you play the $40 and then choose a prize base on the credits. So before you appendage over your $20, take a look at the prizes human being offered. If there’s something in at hand that’s worth paying $20 for – have fun. If not, hang on to walking.
6.Valet: If you’re going to be renting a car while you’re near, valet parking is the way to move about. For a $2 tip, you can park at a hotel or casino and visit the handy hotels and casinos.
7.Bus: If you use the busses that run up and down the strip, put your wallet in your front pocket. Vegas is the favorite time off spot for pick-pocketers, too.
8.Cabs: Cabs are more expensive than a bus, but faster and less waiting. Almost adjectives hotels have a hackney cab line outside one of their doors, a string of cabs waiting for the next fare. A hotel hand will whistle for the next hackney cab in file when you ask for a cab.
Things to see (and most are FREE!):
1.The Freemont Street Experience: Every dark there is a buoyant and music show that stretches for blocks. It’s an amazing thing to see … and it’s FREE. Freemont Street is contained by downtown Vegas, you’ll need to lift a cab if you don’t hold a car. The street is blocked rotten from traffic and you can stand in the street and look up and keep watch on the show. (Another place to keep a close check on your wallet.) There’s a different show every 30 minutes, setting up at 8:00 or 8:30 PM. Show times and pictures can be seen at: http://www.vegasexperience.com/... Be sure to check out the video! Freemont Street also have performers and kiosk all along it. Lots to see and worth a trip. Downtown used to be obnoxious and scary, but they’ve cleaned it up and it’s verbs and safe immediately. Just don’t wander too far bad Freemont on any of the side streets. You probably wouldn’t want to anyway, most of the action is right on Freemont.
2.The Fountains at Bellagio: Don’t miss this! It’s a 900-foot long row of fountains that “dance” to music. The songs fine-tuning, and it’s awesome to see. 4.The Canal at the Venetian: This is pretty amazing and a MUST see. You have a feeling like you’re surrounded by Italy as you stroll along the canal and call on the shops. 5.The Volcano, The Tigers and The Aquarium at The Mirage: If you go up the moving esplanade and through the front door at the Mirage, you’ll see the white tiger. Pretty cool to see. Head through the foliage to the front lobby and check out the wall behind the check-in desk. It’s a HUGE salt-water aquarium. In front of the hotel here is a huge waterfall that turns into an erupting volcano (loud, bright, and hot!) at dark. A trip to Vegas without seeing the volcano erupt newly wouldn’t be a trip to Vegas. http://www.themirage.com/

7.Masquerade Village at The Rio: Masquerade Village is inside the casino at the Mirage. There is a play in the sky next to music and dancing and lights that’s pretty cool to see. The Bellagio should be on a enumerate of things to do. (Free to see the Water Fountain show out front and the Conservatory inside) The story I tell is around a book titled something like "1000 things to see formerly you die". Places all over the world. The Las Vegas Strip is on in that, but the Bellagio has its own category!
First of adjectives pick inside things to do during the day! The buffets are awsome, plan on drinking alot. Get tickets to the shows you want to attend now. The shows are almost as apt as the food. Only bring enough change that you can afford to lose! Have a great time!
