Well as a native Texan I can share you that a lot of the ethnic group here are either first or second contemporaries Texans, so they are from somewhere else. So maybe you can answer the examine.

Excuse you. Dallas has more shopping per capita than any other city surrounded by the United States and has some of the best restaurants contained by the country. Texas has the best state unprejudiced in the country and is the biggest state of the 48 contiguous states within the union. Texas have it's stake in history as okay (e.g. The Alamo). I've lived in Texas for four years. And I can detail you that people at hand are not arrogant!! There are arrogant people and Aholes everywhere you budge. but people contained by Texas are just proud of where on earth they're from that's all there's nil wrong with that. Texas is a great state. I suggest that you stay near for a lil bit and get to know it previously asking a question approaching this!!

That's distinctly a generalization.
I live contained by Dallas, and because of the tax benefits, (no state income tax), frequent companies have relocated their headquarters here. Because of this, it is tricky to find a native Texan. Most of us come from other states. Even the Texas drawl is scarcely heard around Dallas...Dallas, Texas within general is a melt pot for people from adjectives over the country.
So, any generalization you are making roughly the people have little to do with the state of Texas.
I will bequeath you that Dallas was the plastic surgery wherewithal of the world...and that many here do live above their vehicle..in big houses, driving luxury cars, etc...whether or not they can afford them.why, I don't know...does that put together them arrogant, not so sure.
As to the schools.UT/Austin, SMU/Dallas, among copious others are very capably respected.
