Boston Hotels June 2008?
Hello and good morning everyone. I enjoy been have some difficulties searching for cheap hotels contained by the Boston area. My best friend and I are flying contained by from Chicago and plan on walking and riding the subway to get around town so I would approaching a hotel close enough to a subway stop and not too far from the city. We are looking within the price range of nearly $80-$120 a night. I hope this is okay. Thank you for everyone's help surrounded by advance and singular serious answers please!

Hotels almost never put up for sale their rooms at "rack rate". They always own special rates that you can find on sites like Expedia and Travelocity.
Unfortunately, it's too untimely to see what those rates will be for june. Those prices look rack rate. The current prices for the same hotels are much lower.
I would articulate to take a look at the current prices of hotels for an estimate. As long as you stay away from date that coincide with college graduation season, you should see similar rates come up surrounded by the spring for June bookings.
The trick is to not look at hotel that are in Boston proper--they'll be more expensive than ones surrounded by neighboring communities. When we were up in attendance this past spring, we stayed surrounded by Brookline, and were right across from the T. The hotel wasn't inexpensive, but it also did not cost an arm and a leg. It's the Courtyard by Marriot--they are other the best chain from my experience.
Try the Holiday Inn Somerville (near Sullivan subway station) or Holiday Inn Express in Cambridge (near Lechmere subway station). Or, if you would resembling a European style older but renovated hotel try the Buckminster (at Kenmore subway station) or the Shawmut Inn (at North Station). If the price is not OK newly negotiate.
