Parking epic driving surrounded by Boston?
Me and my family of 5 are going to Boston surrounded by mid July, is it cheaper to park or ride the T?

Feeding meters will probably be cheaper than paying for T day pass for 6 people ---- IF YOU CAN FIND EMPTY METERED SPACES. But as others own advised you driving within Boston can be very treacherous for those that are not experienced beside it.
Parking runs about $29 bucks per 24 hours no event where you park contained by the city. There are alot of parking garages- so you can always find a space.
Parking on the street is thorny to find, and if you can it's usually metered so you have to budge back and excise the meter every 2 hours.
If you are from out of the nouns, you will not want to drive in the city, so you will be better stale riding the T.
Well if you lucked out and found a meter spot, it would probably be cheaper than all of you paying for spinal column and forth on the T. But odds are, you can hold a hard time finding a meter spot. Sometimes you can find lots that'll cost anywhere surrounded by between $10-$30 per day, depending on the location and hours of daylight of the week. So if you just salaried for a lot, you could wander around the city easily.
Definitely cheaper to take the T (public transportation) than driving into the city and afterwards being forced to reimburse for your parking.
I'd take the T...it's faster and you won't take in traffic. It's tough to find unscrew lots in Boston and if you do its repeatedly 20 dollars or more.it's really steep. And finding spots on the road is frozen and you will probably not find one. I'd suggest parking at Quincy Adams on the redline and taking that in, or the Alewife station surrounded by cambridge, or the green line surrounded by Newton, etc..check mbta.com for more...
the T! clean, air-conditioned (even most of the stations) and you can pocket your iced dunkin' donuts coffee on the train!
Ride the T.. Hands down. They sell each day, weekly and monthly passes. Each ride is $2 unless you buy a Charlie Card, and after it's $1.70. The daily is $9.00, and the weekly is $15.00..

Driving in main Boston and nearby towns (Cambridge) is a big flout unless you really know what you are doing. There is no grid as in most cities, since the roads be first developed in the 17th century. Lots of come to a point one-way streets, along with several sizeable parks surrounded by the middle, makes Boston driving pretty much of a nightmare even formerly you have to business deal with Boston's aggressive drivers. Boston is much harder than NYC or San Francisco, and comparable to Paris or Rome.
The meter maids are impressively efficient in the order of issuing tickets, and parking rates are very high-ranking. If you are up for the challenge, after go for it. My suggestion, though, would be to stick with the T and near taxis if you are going to stay within the area covered by the T, and to rent a sports car if you are going to drive out of town to the Cape, to Salem, or the Berkshires.
