Places to stay between Burbon st and Convention Center?
Going to New Orleans in June/July and enjoy Qs. Last time I was nearby (5 yrs ago) I stayed at La Quinta Inn on Camp St. And it was right because it was close to the convention center (had to be in motion during the day for meetings) and Burbon St (where I could entertainment at night). What are some other NICE hotels I could stay at where I am between the convention center and Burbon St again.

I stayed at Harrahs 2 night last April, 4 star adjectives the way!! I also stayed at Wyndham Riverfront Hotel, a nice 3 star beside a great restaurant onsite.

The Best Western St. Christopher was on my detail, worth a look. The Hilton is great because it's right on the Riverwalk.
There are score of hotels in the Central Business District and within the Warehouse District, not counting the ones in the French Quarter. There are also a dozen or so hotels any directly across the street from the CC or within a block. It mostly depends on how much you want to pay envelope.
The Renaissance Arts Hotel (Marriott), the Embassy Suites Hotel (Hilton), the W Hotel on Poydras Street, the Lowes Hotel on Poydras Street, and the Hilton Riverside are all nice hotels close to the CC.
For your purpose I devise I would recommend the Renaissance Pere Marquette Hotel is newly renovated and is only across Canal about a block from the start of the French Quarter.
Renaissance Pere Marquette
(504) 525-1111
817 Common St
New Orleans, LA
You might also want to try
Monteleone Hotel
(504) 523-3341
214 Royal St
New Orleans, LA
There are really profoundly of nice options, if you cross over Canal out of the french quarter I would recommend select something within roughly speaking a block from Canal for desirable location.
P.S. The Wyndham mentioned above is no longer a Wyndham but cant recall what its call now.
there are seriously ... my fav is the Royal Orleans really 1st class the Rib Room is top drawer and the bar on the roof is the best within the city ..
