Cure for ant bites? an emolument i can use?
ive been surrounded by USA for about 6 weeks and enjoy been bitten twice by ants! and both the times on my foot. the itching drove me crazy!! it be swollen for days before thr be a gray mole like piece that i popped. i need back cause i loathe wearing boots outside n i prefer to wear slippers, ne ointment or ne tip is really agreeable

try going to CVS or another drug store & looking at anti-itch creams. I can assure you you'll find something.
you could also WATCH WHERE YOU STEP or simply wear close toed shoes.
& yeah, ants suck. =[
I put a benedryl spray on it after I cleanse it beside soap and water. I also pilfer benedryl which will make me sleepy and when I am sleeping, I don't want to chisel. When it gets too unpromising, I go see a doctor because I am allergic to the bites and the toxin will spread all around the bitten nouns if I don't have them treated by a doctor.
The treatment for fire ants is as follows:
Gently wash the nouns with soap and marine to rid the skin of any venom on it. Do not break the blisters.
Disinfect the nouns with alcohol.
Place a cool compress or rime to relieve the swelling and pain.
Commercial products such as StingEze, calamine lotion, etc., will numb the nouns for a while.
Or for a home remedy for fire ant bites, quickly apply a gummy paste of baking soda and marine, or bleach and water, or meat tenderizer and hose. These can reduce the misery and itching. You can carry a small spray bottle of one of these mixtures near you to use immediately if you know you will be within an infested area to be exact not close to the house.
Spraying a topical (cortisone) or taking a systemic (oral) antihistamine (like Benadryl) will help prevent allergic reaction and swelling. I also find Caladryl works well for abundant people.
Avoid scratch the pustule, which can lead to infection.
Persons allergic to insect stings should hope medical attention immediately to avoid and serious injury.
When my mom used to treat our bites, she simply poured rubbing alcohol on the bites and turned the fan on to dry it. It be cool and soothing. If we really itched, she would dab for a time calamine lotion on the bites. That was within the days before they made the clear calamine lotion. We have polka dots for days, lol.
When I was five, I saw a pile of ants on the front sidewalk and go and got a sleeve of crackers to nurture them. Imagine my surprise when those little red suckers bit me. I never fed them again. I remember my dad laughing at me when he get home and I told him the story. He told me to stick to feeding the birds.
