Is Miami similar to Southern Ca at adjectives and is it a fully clad place to live for a young-looking developed?
I've asked a few questions around Miami before and almost everyone have told me not to move there. And things i've read on the internet right to be heard the same entity. Is it that bad? I be born and raised within the SF Bay Area and currently live in San Diego and want a modify and warmer the deep water. I'm used to discouraging traffic, high housing costs, taxes, and deeply all of that crap associated near living in a generous urban area so that stuff doesn't bother me too much. I'm single, 25, and hold a degree surrounded by urban planning, so schools or angelic places to raise a ancestral don't really matter to me in a minute. I'm not materialistic, drive an old, cheap motor and don't need much besides a roof over my pave the way.
Has anyone else made this move and what is there experience?
I'm latino but do not know spanish, will that be a problem in that and will I get dirty looks from other latino's? Not knowing spanish have never really been a problem here contained by CA.
Any input is appreciated...

Due to hurricanes the cost of home owners insurance is the upmost in the country - $4-6K per year for an average middle income home. Which is close to 100% higher than anywhere else within the US.
You will see more Cubans and Dominicans in Miami than the Mexicans you find within San Diego. Miami is much more culturally diverse.

If melt ocean river is what you want, then any place along the Gulf of Mexico would fit, as would most of the east coast up to Cape Cod. The Gulf Stream current take a hard eastern turn at Cape Cod. South side of the outcrop water is reheat, north side of the cape sea is like SoCal.
hey,look do listen to what other people voice.I live in Miami,and i come up with that its an awsome place.im 15,and i used to live in New Jersey,past for about 7 years.next my parents chose to move here in the summer of 2005.they choose to move here because within the north there werent tons jobs vanished,and it was financialy broken down.anyway,at first i didnt resembling it,but about 1 year subsequently,i loved WAY more than up north.many citizens dont do this,but ill manufacture an exception.To start off miami is rich full up with job.especially,anything to do with construction,architec,and those types of field.so i dont really think that if you move here you will enjoy much of a problem finding a job.Also,the houses here arent really that adjectives expensive.I live in a small city call Miami Springs,and my parents pay in the region of 900$ for the rent of the house.i live in a loving of city/town,i virtually live inside a small city inside a larger city called Hialeah,which have about 226,000 inhabitants.if i were you,i would move to a small city,i live within miami springs and its really calm,and tranquillity,and evryone minds their buisness.next,i chew over that another advantage that Miami have over Socal if that the women here are so pretty.and thats no bull,if you go to South Beach,youll know what im chitchat about.Also,Miami have a big populaton of hispanics,from Cubans,Columbians,Nicaraguians,Salvaldor... Mexicans,and about 50% of the hispanic population know english.Also,Miami have a huge party atmosphere.as soon as you step foot on here you can touch it,and sence it.of course,since Miami have a population of about 2.6 million inhabitants,you can expect there to be lots of crime,and in attendance is.If i were you,i would stay out of places approaching Opa-Locka,Overtown,Miami Gardens,North Miami,Hialeah(even though it has moderate crime),Liberty City,Carl City,and Allapahta.but most of those cities,(except for Hialeah)are located surrounded by the north and west part of Miami.most of those cities are gang terrotories.Perfcet places to tilt families are contained by the Downtown area,Miami Springs,Aventura,parts of Hialeah,Sweetwater,Doral,Virginia Gardens,and Kendal,if i be you i wouldnt raise a familial in South Beach,due to the reality that it is a party-city,and its filled near adults,and night clubs,its pretty much a city made for adults.The the deep waters are great for relaxation.Most people that live within downtown Miami are real polite.i really,really infer that you dont base your thoughts on internet websites.due to the reality that most websites focus on the negatives,and not the ups.i believe that if you strongly desire to move here,i think that in a minute would be a good time,due to the reality that spring break is coming up,and thousands of people are going to infest miami.that would present you a chance of congregation friends and stuff.Miami is pretty much the Eastcoast version of L.A. or San diego.i give attention to that if you moved here and give it sometime,i contemplate that you will greatly appriciate the move.
I'm from Miami and lived in SD for 4 years. They are pretty different surrounded by a few ways. Hispanic culture is more prevelent in Miami and Hispanics contained by general are much more affluent surrounded by Miami. This provides a much greater diversity in clubs, restaurants and the art and music scene. This is not to say-so there is no white go in Miami - lol. The cultures appear to meld together much better in FL. Miami is far trendier than SD. Think more of an LA scene for music, restaurants, clubs, trend, etc...
The cost of living is far less contained by FL which is a big bonus. Both are beautiful cities and tremendously water orient. Beaches and boating are big in FL. FL rage is definitely sexy beside lots of skin showing and designer names adjectives. SD has more of a kewl seaside scene where surfer types rule. Although both hold large parts of the cities inland, I hand over Miami a plus for a feeling of tropic warmness even inland.
Speaking of heat, daytime temps are in the order of the same. Miami only just ever cools off at hours of darkness like SD. As they say aloud, it's all almost the humidity. Miami is humid! from June - October and sometimes a bit too humid the rest of the year. Hot sultry nights are specifically Miami and not SD. Miami's water is passageway warmer than CA. lol - most Miamians don't budge in the marine outside of summer. Winter water still seem warmer than CA summer sea to me.
Miami is still the US contrary to some people's belief and English is widely spoken. Sure, certain parts of town might be primarily Spanish speaking but so is Chula Juana. Dirty looks can come surrounded by any big city. I have to own that I think San Diegans contained by very broad terms are friendlier and more polite than Miamians. Driving is also a pleasure surrounded by SD comparitively. Traffic is a nightmare during rush hours and drivers can be downright rude.
Finally, as far as safety go I'd say it's no more treacherous than any other big US city. Pretty much stay out of bad parts of town close to you would in SD and you'll be fine. With that - I reflect the Metro-area of Miami is much bigger than SD. At the very least possible it certainly seem much bigger as a local. Remember that locals and tourists often hold very different view of what a place is really like. Stick to local recommendation. I doubt you hang out at the Hard Rock or the Zoo surrounded by SD - you wouldn't do the same surrounded by Miami. GOOD LUCK!
I live surrounded by S. California but I've visited Miami and I love it!There is a roomy Spanish speaking community there but the atmosphere in attendance is much different than it is here. I have several friends that moved within years ago and they prefer Florida to California. The only problem I see near Miami are the hurricanes.
