Things i call for to do until that time i move down to California?!?>!?
I might move down to california for a good 6monhts, i might drive from ohio and Take my saloon down to California,. do i need rto register my sports car? get a tentative drivers liscense? how can i drie there legaly?!and where on earth do i need to run if i move to the bay nouns. i..e Berkeley or San Fransicsco ??

Cailifornia is extremely simple. If you start living there and burning up miles on the highway, you have 30 days from when you catch there to register your sports car and get a driver's license. Same point if you put kids in the local institution system. You don't have to do any of this if you are visit, just if you embezzle up residence and start working there.
I hope you hold some $$ saved up. San Francisco is extremely expensive, and Berkeley isn't too much better. Since I don't know your situation I cannot advocate you further. Good luck and enjoy my home state.
everywhere in california is expansive. its an expensive state. san fransisco is a tough place to find a cheaper house or something.
If you have a drivers license from another state you can drive within CA no problem, but as another responder noted you must get a CA license and registration if you are here more than a reliable number of days, though I think near is some provision if you are only working contained by the state temporarily. San Francisco and Berkeley are both very interesting and diverse places to live. Parking can be intricate to come by in both cities, SF have a good bus system so you can go and get all around town markedly well short driving.
