How long of a way of walking is it from Grand Central Station to St. Patrick's Cathedral?

just step up 8 blocks, and 1-2 ave over. take you 10 min.
If on weekdays, if you used exit at Grand Central North which connects to main Grand Central terminal, use Madison Av/47th St because it will be 5 blocks to 5th Av/51st St.
St. Pat's is on 50th Street and 5th Avenue and Grand Central is on 42nd Street between Vanderbilt and Lexington Avnues. The walk from St. Pat's to Grand Central is 10 blocks (8 blocks down 5th Avenue and 2 blocks going east long 42nd Street), and depending on you walking speed it will bring about 10 to 15 minutes.
