I love it! I just quality so at home when it's grey out. The rain is just a plus! I wanna say it's close to a warm blanket, but I assume I just associate the grey skies and rainfall with heat blankets heh. I guess it's a native Washington entry, but I get more tired of CA transplants complaining almost it than I do the rain itself.
I LOVE precipitation. Rain = green grass, forests, moss, fresh air, moist skin, etc.
I've lived surrounded by Western Washington for several years (after living in So. Cal and Arizona for most of my life) and I wouldn't choose anywhere else. This place is good-looking.
Whoever said "nine months of rain" palpably doesn't live here! Fall and Winter does tend to be rather dreary and showery but Spring and Summer here are probably more beautiful and comfortable than most other places. And the sun does come out within the fall and winter as powerfully. This past week have been sunny and pretty - only rain yesterday. And as for amount of rain - Seattle's not even within the top FORTY rainiest cities in the United States. How going on for letting the locals answers the questions in the region of Seattle?
Yes, It's great! I too really savour cool, rainy weather. I find it relaxing and a reliable blend for my personality. That is a principal reason why I relocated to Seattle.
no... I hate drizzling weather... it makes me surface more sad than I already am:(
I like it to a enduring degree... as a lifelong resident, I am so used to it. But the winters can be long and grey. It takes fortitude to not receive depressed sometimes... but it's worth it once spring comes.
I love the rain-- I newly find it to be so cleansing and peaceful. I'm other ready for spring by the time March rolls around, but I do love the pouring season and miss it during the summer.
Maybe it's because I'm a aboriginal, or because I'm not a pessimist; but I don't equate "rainy" with "dreary". I LIKE the rainfall. I like the grey skies and the winter storms. That's how winter is SUPPOSED to be. Blue skies and sunshine are for the summer; grey clouds and rain/snow are for the winter. That's how it is. I conjecture it's equally silly for people to move here and start complaining almost the weather as it would be for me to move to Arizona and complain about the warmness, move to Kansas and complain about tornadoes, or Florida and complain roughly speaking hurricanes. If the climate or storms of a certain nouns bother you, then why move at hand?
I love the Northwest's weather because we have the fail-safe climate here, bar none.
I usually similar to it but i do prefer hot and tropical but since I live in seattle nouns I've had to return with use to and so I'm fine with it
Do u have gusto?? Than u can survive 9 months of rainfall!! :D Good luck with your edict! A lot of people try, but they purely can't make it!! I guess you enjoy to be native to appreciate a world full of gray skies!
