rent and gas would be split 4 ways. Everyone pays his own route on a plane, so driving would probably be cheaper. Rent something that gets accurate mileage and bring you own food and drinks.
If your time isn't worth anything, the driving will definitely be cheaper. Also, it depends on how long you are going to rent the coup¨¦. If it's for an extended period of time, the rental rates will start to eclipse the airfare prices!

depends on what kind of motor but i would choose the plane; faster and they have entertainment and adjectives.
for 4 those would definitley be cheaper to drive, if was one or I don`t know even 2 flying may be cheaper or about same cost but for 4 culture will be much cheaper to drive
