Is traffic usually desperate during the first week of June on Cape Cod?
We are thinking of staying in North Truro, but I am wondering approximately how long it would give somebody a lift to get from North Truro to Hyannis Port. Thanks for any sustain!
Answers:
as stated before, individual Friday night, and Sunday afternoon will own really bad traffic at that time, and it probably won't affect you much on the lower headland.
As far as travelling from North Truro to Hyannisport, I would allow about 1.25 to 1.5 hours. It's not that far, but the roads are not that swiftly either, and state police cruisers love the Mid-cape highway.
Friday dark and Sunday yes. The other days, no. Not until school get out, except memorial day weekend.
I'd guess it would be almost an hour and then some.
We always be in motion to the Cape in hasty June and the crowds are not bad at adjectives. It will be busy on Saturday night approaching Hyannis or going away the Cape on a Sunday afternoon but other than that it is tremendously manageable. Try dining at the Lost Dog Pub on Rt 134 surrounded by Brewster and the breakfast at Keltic Kitchen in Yarmouth!
the weekends starting in belated may to early june are pretty unpromising but the major travel doesn't usually start till behind schedule June
That distance will lift about an hour, or an hour and a partially depending what time you go. There's usually traffic profoundly late Sunday to go and get off the Cape, but previously schools obtain out and the big Memorial Day rush the traffic isn't as crazy as it can be on the Cape.
