Miami travel?
i want to travel to Miami in Feb 2008 near my wife and two kids (5yr, 1yr); how many days would be a flawless vacation; i would approaching to go on daytime trips to tourist spots also in this time off.
Also can anyone recommed good spots surrounded by and around Miami.

There's the Miami Science Museum, which I loved growing up, and also the Miami Children's Museum for the kids. You might like Lincoln Road surrounded by Miami Beach, it's an outdoor walking area beside lots of shops and restaurants and a farmer's market on sundays. I recommend the Seaquarium and the Miami Metrozoo.
I'm not sure exactly how long you would want to spend- I'd brand a list of everything you considered necessary to do and see how long it looked like you requirement, then append another day in recent times in grip.
Suggest you read a guide or travel book nearly South Florida & then come put money on with specific question. Miami is not an especially child friendly venue.
Your kids do come across a bit young to delight in much of any trip to Miami - trust me, even a 1 year old can be impressed by Orlando and Mickey Mouse.
Still, if you're intent on going to Miami, perchance the trip is more for you and your wife, I would suggest maybe 4 days to a week. Miami isn't notorious for its tourist spots unless you count bars and clubs. Go for a more family-oriented hotel close to the Hilton or the Four Seasons. Personally, I can't see the art-deco, stereotypical Miami hotels on Ocean Ave being a great place for infantile children, and at night it get loud.
In Miami and the surrounding local area, within are a few activities that could be fun for the home:
Miami Seaquarium - (smaller, a little lower contained by budget, okay a lot, than Sea World) but you can trade name reservations to swim with dolphins.
Parrot Jungle Island - I've in actuality heard of this as a famous research facility for chimpanzees, however that may have be refering to "back within the day." Still, it's probably worth a trip.
South Beach - Please register that this is a beach where on earth people really do run topless. Still, it's well certain and the beach is pretty clean.
Crandon Park - a sand located on Key Biscayne ($1.25 toll to get across the bridge and one and only pay within one direction). It's not bad, purely not half as classy as South Beach. Has trees on the sand, so that can be diverting. A little less verbs. If, to you, a beach is a coast, this might be the better option.
Again, Miami is a tourist spot in the main for the spring breakers and 21-30 age range because of its nightlife. Good luck.

If you are into the beach check for inexpensive hotels surrounded by Hollywood on the broadwalk- puts you a bit north of Miami, but right on the beach which is great for wearing out the kids!
