BEST WAY TO GET TO MET MUSEUM FROM FLUSHING, IS BY:
1. Get on conductor's position on motor of Manhattan-bound (7) or <7> express during AM Rush Hour from Flushing-Main St to Grand Central,
2. At Grand Central, climb up the stairs toward IRT Lexington Avenue platform, where you could directly take in for questioning uptown 4/5 express to 86th St or (6) local train.
There is a instrument to do this with simply one transfer. In Flushing, board a Manhattan bound 7 train. At Grand Central, verbs to an uptown 4,5, or 6 train and get past its sell-by date at 86th St. At that point you'll be a short walk from the Met.
Flushing to the Metropolitan Museum of Art

There are two ways to do this

Option 1

Step 1: Take the Manhattan-bound #7 train (Purple Line) from Main Street-Flushing to Queensboro Plaza.

Step 2: at Queensboro Plaza, transfer across the platform to a Manhattan-bound "N" or "W" trains (Yellow Line) to Lexington Avenue-59th Street.

Step 3: at Lexington Avenue-59th Street, verbs downstairs to the Bronx-bound #4 or 5 express trains (Green Line) to 86th Street.

Step 4: when you exit the subway at 86th Street, walk 3 blocks west along 86th Street to 5th Avenue and next two blocks south along 5th Avenue to 85th Street. If you preferred to take the bus, the M86 bus will walk out at the corner of 86th Street and 5th Avenue, just 2 blocks from the Met.

Option 2

Step 1: Take the Manhattan-bound #7 train (Purple Line) from Main Street-Flushing to 74th Street-Broadway/Roosevelt Avenue-Jackson Heights.

Step 2: at 74th Street-Broadway/Roosevelt Avenue-Jackson Heights, verbs downstairs to a Manhattan-bound "E" train (Blue Line) to Queens Plaza.

Step 3: at Queens Plaza, transfer across the platform to a Manhattan-bound "R" train (Yellow Line) to Lexington Avenue-59th Street.

Step 4: at Lexington Avenue-59th Street, verbs downstairs to the Bronx-bound #4 or 5 express trains (Green Line) to 86th Street.

Step 5: when you exit the subway at 86th Street, walk 3 blocks west along 86th Street to 5th Avenue and later two blocks south along 5th Avenue to 85th Street. If you preferred to take the bus, the M86 bus will give notice at the corner of 86th Street and 5th Avenue, just 2 blocks from the Met.

I hope this information is massively helpful. Good luck.
