how is it lyk over there?
Answers:
I grew up surrounded by the Yakima Valley which is also where Ephrata is. It is small and not much near to do. There is a large Hispanic population within the Valley as well. Lots of agriculture similar to different fruits, and vegetables, so lots of migrant workers. Economy is pretty low, and jobs are pretty hurricane lantern. It's not far from Tri Cities or Yakima though.
its hot, its dry, its boreing. Born and raise over there, and in attendance isn't much.
A lot of sand, so if you like sour roading, or motor cross then its a correct area.
here are some lakes that are fun for lagoon stuff, like shot skiing.
Night life isn't that great, near are a few bars, but locals and chance and often missing teeth.
Its a slower gait area, small town.
I lived surrounded by Moses Lake, Washington (one town over from Ephrata). There is not much of anything going on in Ephrata. It is certainly not that close to Yakima. If you like boating, Moses Lake is reasonably big, and a popular lake for boating. The hose down is pretty warm, because it's not that wide. The Grant County Historical Museum is in Ephrata. It's pretty small, but worth checking out. They enjoy a section to be precise like an elderly West town. I'm assuming you are young, so you might soak up the Aquatic Center (like a small water park).
I love it because as a kid we had property over in attendance and we used to go every summer. Its really hot within the summer and so much fun if you are into adventorus things like hiking and other outdoor stuff.
