How do I grasp from LaGuardia to Rye, NY ?

I imagine LaGuardia has a shuttle that go to Penn Station (or possibly Grand Central Station). From Penn Station, you would have to procure to Grand Central Station (by subway or taxi or amble 10 blocks north and east from 34St to 42 St ) and from there nick a train (New Haven line) from NYC to Rye (about 30 or 40 minute train ride).
Take the M60 bus ($2 fare, use any MetroCard or coins), into Manhattan, over the Triborough Bridge, to 125th Street/Park Avenue. You will see elevated tracks. That is Metro-North Railroad
You then purchase a ticket at the counter or electrical device and check the scrolls for trains on the New Haven stripe (usually lit in "red") as economically as schedules (or telephone call the number below). The train for Rye is on the New Haven line (trains are usually striped surrounded by red) and stops downtown in the heart of the City of Rye (near Purdy Street)
There are two option from LGA to Rye, NY.
Option 1:
You could get 1-Day Pass at Hudson Newstand for $7.50 or $4 card.
From Delta-Northwest, US Airways Shuttle, US Airways, Central Terminal B, American Airlines, look for sign that say
Take Q33 to 74th St Bus Terminal last stop or Q72 to Roosevelt Av for Manhattan-bound (7) from Junction Blvd/74th St to Grand Central.
Junction Blvd is pinnacle express station, so you arrive at that station from Q72, you may end up taking Manhattan-bound <7> express which begin from about 6:30 to 12 twelve noon, but lately due to construction on middays, express finish about 9am. Other station including this station is served by (7) local.
If you use $4 MetroCard, you would reclaim money, because Q33/Q72 could reach subway station back 2 hours expires.
Grand Central is much better stop than Harlem-125th St because not all outbound New Haven Line stop at Harlem-125th St.
Buy ticket from Ticket Office, but Metro-North Ticket Vending Machine is better because ticket fanlight at Grand Central always have long line.
It cost $9.25 culmination and $6.75 off-peak to Rye Station via New Haven Line. Make sure to get on train that stop at Rye.
If you going in the vicinity the station, you could just step.
If you not close to Rye Station, you could use same MTA MetroCard that you used on Q33/Q72+Subway on Bee-Line 76 Loop. In Summer, you could also use Bee-Line 75 also.

M60 leaves from following terminals: Delta-Northwest, US Airways Shuttle, US Airways, Central Terminal B, American Airlines, Authorize Sign, Avis Rental/Shoprite Gas, Marine Air aka Delta Shuttle, Port Authority Rescue & Police, after onto 82nd St, then along Astoria Blvd to Triboro Bridge, later onto 125th St. Metro-North Station is on Park Av, five stops from Triboro Bridge.
At Park Av, same reason as Grand Central, purchase ticket for New Haven Line that will stop at Rye. Fare is same as from Grand Central to Rye.
Tony S is right There is simply no good use to schlep all the instrument into Grand Central Station only to hold to go departed the 125 st MetroNorth station on your way to Rye
