Answers:
We dress fly. Always on point. (not trying to be cocky)
People dress the way they other wanted to when they lived somewhere else but be afraid due to fear of self judged. As long as you own a style, it doesn't matter what style that is to say. Just be you and then lift it out of the safety zone to be REALLY you.

If that doesn't work for you and you have need of more guidance then flip through a few teen mags and see what cute things are mortal shown there. Then pilfer whatever parts of those outfits that you approaching and work them to your own rhythm. Have fun! You're 15!
heyyy
it doesn't situation.
people within ny dress all differently.
wear what you usually wear and like!
in standard, stripes and all bright colors are out...ny'ers wear profoundly of black, anything that makes them look slim, and anything that looks expensive. however, this is a amazingly diverse city of more than 8 million people, anything you wear somebody else will also be wearing, your man a tourist will probably be obvious even if you are snappily dressed (no offense), and what other culture choose to do should really be irrelevant to you -- wear what makes you comfortable!
Elegant, many greys and blacks
Sport clothing is not cool
Wear jeans and any coat you hold
Avoid high hill - too much walking will make your foot hurt a lot

Good luck!
Really sharp, edgy, hip, no cutey pie, does not work. Dress offhand, sheik, have fun.
close to people, who are really COLD
we enjoy a great diversity in population here contained by nyc, and it's also in what we wear. 15-yr-olds largely wear casual jeans, boots or sneakers, hoodies, for winter: cute hood and scarf sets. The point is no one would stare at you because you don't look resembling everyone else because everyone looks different. Wear something you look great in for the pictures and if you own the budget for it, you can always pick up some spanking new outfits while you are here.
Sweat pant, shirt, jeans and Abercrombie/holister/polo shirt
They articulate the style is different because there isn't any style contained by particular here! Keep contained by mind, we have nation from all walk of life and from adjectives over the world, so everybody just kinda get thrown together here. Therefore, you're certain to see something different from what you're used to. You're also predictable to see something similar to what you're used to. There is no New York "uniform," if you will.

I'm from NYC, and been to tiny towns adjectives over the US (including in New Mexico), and can articulate that just give or take a few any style I've seen contained by other places, I've also seen contained by New York.

I like to voice we dress functional or practical. If it's cold, we take doesn`t matter what warm stuff we enjoy. If it's wet, we pinch whatever we have need of to keep dry.

So, don't verbs about individual "in style" contained by New York. Just dress like you as a rule would and you'll probably fit in of late fine (and even if you don't, is really going to matter to anyone anyway?). First and foremost, work on adjust to the weather conditions, and have comfortable walking shoes. That's it. Of course, if you plan on any fancy restaurants, later you might want to look into dressing up a bit.
Pretty much any way we want.
