2- should i even step?
3- should i be worried ill rouse up married and lost all my lolly one night bc i go and partied

I graduated from UNLV ultimate Fall. Here are my answers to your questions:

1. Live sour campus. If you live on campus, you're required to buy a meal plan. Many students find it difficult to spend their buffet plan by the end of the semester because if you don't use it, you loose it.

Many girls and guys will amble up to you while walking in the student alliance and ask if you want a free meal.

Also- the dorms can be rough. We enjoy underclass and upperclassmen dorms and the rules, obviously, are rough. In adornment, you have to listen to loud music at adjectives hours of the night and constant partying. You also involve to share a bathroom with four folks including yourself.

I don't consider that the college experience.

Living off campus will be cheaper contained by the long run. The apartments across from UNLV are really shady but you can find some great deals around the city. If you don't drive, the bus is reliable if you allow yourself satisfactory time for the commute.

I would recommend taking online classes, working on campus, and scheduling your classes on either Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday to maximize your time on campus.

2. Go to UNLV. It's a great arts school and I have no problems beside it. It's especially great if you're going to engineering, law, or hotel/business command. The computer science department is fantastic as well.

3. Las Vegas no longer have 24 hour drive through weddings, so the probability of you waking up married and broke is hugely low; however, the party scene will burn you out.

UNLV is not a knees-up school and fraternities aren't a big thing- they'll hold anyone during Rush.

Good Luck!
#1 - Many UNLV students live at the Oasis Place Apartments, located at Sierra Vista & Paradise they be $550 the last time I checked.

#2 - Heck yes, UNLV is a great institution

#3 - Married & Broke - That's going to happen sooner or subsequently anyway lol

Later: The people who are calling the nouns around UNLV rough, have not see rough. lol . If you would prefer to live away from the campus, try these.

"Helawat" - very nice answer!!
live on campus more convenient and the lolly driving and renting and insurance will come cloase to the$10,000 you are discussing.

great place right in downtonw.
I'd live on campus..sounds cheaper and UNLV is pretty close to the strip so you will be able to win out easier...and just product good desicions and that wont come about..
i myself would find another univeristy to walk to,Vegas is hard and rough for some society. I would strongly suggest not even think something like renting a house with a room mate u know nought about.. the rent is 1200 and up plus credit check and deposits andit won't be close at hand the univ. A true college feeling? not here within this town. I live here for 29 yrs and I thing u call for to think of different option for your self,, Just My opinon though...
I live very close to the university and I outstandingly recommend your not renting anything right around the school. Someone said it within a previous post, but it is a VERY rough neighborhood. Better to rent something southest of the school. Still affordable but contained by a better place.
