Can you bestow me info around Mardi Gras grandstand tickets?
We're coming for Mardi Gras and I was wondering more or less getting tickets to sit in some of the grandstand along the display routes? I did a quick internet check out but couldn't really find the info I was looking for. So can anyone tender me information about how and when I can buy them? How much they cost approximately? Are they worth it? Or basically any other information you have. Also if you own a good website where on earth I can find this info that would be greatly appreciated too. Ticketmaster sell tickets for grandstand seating. They are not available right very soon, also, I called the Hotel Intercontinental on St. Charles Street because they hold grandstand seating nearby, and it's an excellent location. She advised me that you can seize their grandstand seating at:

and once at that site, you type surrounded by mardi gras. Again, you will have to hang about until about 1/3/08 to bring these grandstand tickets. The stands will start to go up probably around the expiration of this year.
The following offers porch rentals, but you will pay a pretty penny. Most places require a 3 year rental. But, if you get together beside a few people and split the days, it's not that fruitless. If 15 people rent a $1500 rental that's just $100 a piece. I know that most people will be predisposed to pay $200 for a porch rental, it really is a whole different world up near! I did Mardi Gras on a balcony on Bourbon Street and obedient Lord, I could have created a webpage next to the photographs I got! It be the best time. ANYWAY... here is the site:

I love Mardi Gras and hold been plentiful times, used to live in New Orleans and still run back to stop by. I don't think the grandstand tickets are worth the cost..Depending on the type of Mardi Gras "experience" you want. If you want to group hard-just watch the parade from Canal Street or get a hotel room on Bourbon or Royal St.--but the French Quarter will be undeniably packed, and i plan wall-to-wall! If you looking to party but perchance not be in adjectives the "wildness" that is New Orleans, simply scope out the spectacle routes that go up St. Charles Ave through the Garden District. There are some great hotels on that route beside balconies that aren't as expensive as the Quarter. Also, some of the elder homes along the routes will rent "yard space" (or of late find a friendly group and party beside them). The www.nola.com website is great
