i live in a suburb surrounded by southern california. and i really crave the energy and antic of new york. i want to progress to museums, chill in little coffee shops, unite new nation, go to adjectives the bars and never finish resteraunts, hang out within central park. you catch the idea
what neighborhoods should i look for apartments contained by?
and does anyone know any good racially mixed community colleges? and any near better reputations because i know that new york have its good and discouraging parts

I live roughly speaking 20 minutes from New York city, in a sizeable city in Connecticut. My warning is to definetley go for it. You dont want to look posterior and regret not going. However, Please do your research before you progress and realize that it will cost you a lot to live in that; EVEN more to go to college and play. New York has a dignified cost of living, but if you have the money progress for it.
To answer your put somebody through the mill is a bit hard. This adjectives depends on what you do and where you work. Mass transportantion is the best contained by the world. I grew up there until I be 24. I then go to Calif. and worked in the motion picture biz for 30 years. Now I am within Las Vegas and I hate it. I would really close to to be in Fla.
You also hold to remeber about the culture shock near as well the winters. The nation are wonderful there and will assist you with anything. You still own to remember there are unpromising people everywhere. Don't be a sucker for anyone. There are great spots to live within Brooklyn,Queens, Staten Island and the Bronx. Manhatten is a bit pricey to live in. There is other Long Island also. People take the Long Island Railroad into the city from the Island. It would be great if you know someone there who can show you the ropes of the city. I would enjoy never left for Calif. if it wasnt for the winter months. The food is the best anywhere. OMG, Im doing that too, to walk to NYU (hopefully). Anyway, you've probably heard of CUNY( City University of New York) school. Anyway if you still can apply, CUNY offers resembling over 20 different colleges and community colleges all over the nouns, from Queens to Manhatan to the Bronx and others. But you better hurry, cause some of those school need applications by Jan 1( Queens College, City College, and others)And since you're surrounded by NY, "racially mixed" is a given, anywhere.
