How far is fort woth and dallas from plano?
im visiting plano and i hear that there's not alot of things to do there. what would you recommend (to do/to see) surrounded by that area? how far (travel time) is it , if we will be driving from plano to fort worth / dallas?

I used to live within Plano and work in Ft. Worth. You can drive from Plano to FTW within about an hour to be anywhere. Dallas take about 20 minutes on well brought-up traffic days. On Fridays it can be a headache to get anywhere. One time it took me 3 hours to get hold of to FTW, and another time with nothing traffic, 45 mins. If you are adventurous you can ride the DART train from Plano to Dallas, and then shut in the Trinity Rail Express to FTW, and then take into custody the T in FTW, purely be sure to get the 2 zone pass by that is angelic all daylight. It used to be 5 dollars. I love Dallas, but have to grant that Ft Worth has a better nightlife. However, within is still a lot to do contained by both towns, though.

Depends on where on earth in Plano you start and where on earth you end. If it isn't rush hour w/ no traffic, you can probably find to downtown Dallas from Plano in around 15 minutes, possibly 20. Ft. Worth, though, will take a while longer, probably 40-55 + minutes depending on traffic conditions and the route taken.
You can also hold public transportation, the DART train. I haven't ridden it before, but I hear it is hasty, it saves you gas $$$, and you can procure to Ft. Worth from Plano via DART.
