Best nouns for your parents to move to?
I'm trying to help find an nouns for my parents to move to in the LA nouns (the furthest south they want to be is Irvine but don't really want to move that far south) that's pretty quiet at dark. They want to be near shoreline, but have adequate of a yard to grow an red and avocado tree.
They used to live in the LA nouns in the 70s but moved out...and they know abundantly has changed since.

If your parents are of "retirement" age, try Laguna Wood contained by Orange County. It is a large retirement community near lots of activities and amenities that seniors would wallow in. It is located just south of where on earth I-5 & I-405 split.
Burbank is senior-friendly, but not close to the seaside.
Maybe Ventura county, Oxnard area would be nice. Otherwise consider Long Beach, Redondo, Mahattan.
Just in the order of any beach community will be nice, but expensive.
I live surrounded by torrance. It would probly be okay for what you are looking for. Probably Redondo Beach would be good. Or palos verdes.
A large backyard contained by The area your chitchat about is resembling im possible. lol but i found Fountain VAlley can match your desires. Its like mins from Huntington Beach. It have easy acsess to the 405 and is only minutes Shopping and fun in Costa Mesa!
