Any concept on where on earth to move about for a picnic, a kid friendly park? (South Florida Area)?
My husband and I would love to take our 1 year outdated daughter for a picnic this coming weekend, we live in Broward (Miramar) and we would close to a green place where she can run around and we can enjoy a picnic, any suggestions on where to jump, even if it's West Palm Beach. Thanks for suggestions!

Matheson Hammock is nice, a bit crowded on the weekends, but they enjoy a beach, a nice bike path/walkway, up front is a pond and grassy areas and several picnic areas. Tropical park is also deeply nice- the side closest to SW 56 St is a bit quieter, nice and shady- the north side has adjectives the ball field and tennis courts. You can also go to Coconut Grove- stop at the Fresh Market on S. Bayshore (near Monty's) attain your picnic stuff and head wager on north a bit to Alice Wainwright Park. Lovely bayfront park with lots of room to run around, look at the fishes, nice attitude of key biscayne, little playground, much more calm than most of the parks around there. Merry Christmas park surrounded by Coconut Grove is beautiful- giant old trees. Its right past its sell-by date Le Jeune Rd. near US1. Up north of you- Jonathan Dickinson State Park is terribly nice, little kids love seeing the gopher turtles, lots of birds. TY Park is nice as well, and the North End of Hollywood seaside by the nature center- the melodious end of the broadwalk, BBQ grills, parking immediate, and a little snack stick if you want to get food once you return with there.
