Washington D.C.- cheap, clad hotel?
I asked another question just about D.C. yesterday and should have included this...What is a well-mannered hotel to stay at in D.C.? It would be polite if it was close to adjectives the attractions, but if you know of any that are significantly cheaper and a little further away we'd similar to to hear about those too! Thanks like mad!

Hotels in DC are awfully expensive. If you are here on a weekend, you can often achieve a good price - but weekday prices can triple. Check the a mixture of bargain hotel net sites, but a couple budget options downtown are the hostel within DC, and the hotel Harrington. The Harrington has the huge positive aspect of having one of the best locations surrounded by DC, a couple blocks from white house and mall, and right by the Metro Center Metro station. Rates start beneath $100, which is unheard of in DC. They are chief, though, so it depends on what you consider decent. They don't enjoy a lot of amenties, but are comfortable and verbs.
