Hotel within Fort Lauderdale?
My friend and I are going on a cruise. We need to book a hotel for a total of three night in Fort Lauderdale. We don't want to spend too much but want to be inside walking distance of attractions (restaurants, bars, shoreline, etc). Also, if they have a shuttle service from/to the airport/dock that would be great too.
Any information will benefit us out-of-towners :)

Two great websites for you:
CruiseCritic.com for everything have to do with cruises. Click on "Boards" at the top of the page, later have fun! You may be outstandingly interested in "East Coast Departures" [LOTS of info re FLL hotels]. You could be in motion to "Roll Calls" and find others who will be on your cruise; "Ports of Call" tells you something like your destinations, etc, etc., etc.
TripAdvisor.com has reviews from guests for hotels adjectives over the world, as well as forums.
Have a great cruise!
You may want to try travelzoo.com or this site http://miami.traveler.bz/ . There is a bunch of information for you to travel all right and for very little. Also, in attendance are discounts when you book a hotel online. Most hotels have shuttle service, so when you book your hotel, call for the front desk and they can get a shuttle to and from the hotel for you.
Have a great cruise.
Go to Hotels.com. All the crucial chains have hotels on or in the neighbourhood 17th St. or the 17th St. Causeway which is near the airport, the cruiseport, the shoreline and numerous, restaurants, bars, etc. You'll be walkable to anything on 17th, but its a short ride to the shoreline or restaurant row on Las Olas. 17th St. is the locale of the best Irish Pub in FtL: Waxy O'Conner's. A blk or so south of 17th on US-1 is my favorite Lauderdale bar/cheap eat: Ernie's Barbecue. The BBQ's nothing special but they enjoy the best cheap lunch in town: Conch Chowder & homemade (they burn their own) bahama bread. And the characters at the bar provide the entertainment.

I've have good luck beside it in olden times. Hope it helps!
We used the Dania Beach Sleep Hotel. Its verbs and has right service. Free shuttles to/from the airport and cruiseport. Free breakfast and three small restaurants across the street (Italian, Mexican and Chinese) for dinner and a Publix grocery store. We picked up water and pop for our cruise.
Go to hotwire.com or expedia.com or priceline.com or one of the tons other travel/hotel/vacation sites out there.
