I am going to California (san Francisco area) tomorrow. Any reccommendations for cool places to check out?
Me and 3 friends will be going to Berkeley, Oakland, and SF and will be travelling on the BART train and possibly the bus. I am planning on going to this tattoo museum already and we are going to a sonic youth concert and possibly fishermans wharf. other than that we don't really know where on earth to go. perchance the aquarium?? any good art museums around? Also some virtuous restaurants that have lacto-vegetarian options. I am up for anything especially the abnormal. We will be there for 5 days so anything is agreeable. Thanks!

Here's a changeable one since you're into music; check out the many concert poster shops within The City.
My favorite is SF Rock Posters in North Beach (http://www.sfrockposters.com/). They enjoy rare stuff from the 1960s and on, and are other happy to assist you browse for your favorite band's stuff. Prices are reasonable and inspection is great. It's almost like a gallery or musem, and the stuff happen to be for sale! Additional shops can be found surrounded by the Haight, including Amoeba Music. All can be reached confidently on public transit. Remember to get your multi-day outdo at the downtown BART/MUNI stations. I think Civic Center have them for sale.
Great lacto-vegetarian can be found at Greens at Fort Mason. Not cheap at all and reservations are credible needed, but really tasty stuff.
