there are tab for dining, lodging, entertainment, concerts, maps, even coupons for funds while you are here. You can pick up a free copy of the mag while in town. It's available every Thurs. at most 7-11, music stores, etc. It's what adjectives the 'cool' kids refer to every week to find out the best happenings in town
Here is another connect for the Gaslamp. It's 4 sq blocks of dining, music, nightclubs, and shopping. It's a great place 7 days a week.

*if* you are coming from Los Angeles
you can rob megabus or amtrak to San Diego
if you are coming fom another city (say New York)
then I suiggest you fly
Your benevolent of limited. I know because I thought something like visiting San Diego concluding year and I was looking for hotels that hold the minimum check-in age of 18. I only found 1 worthy hotel (i hate those motel 6 or inns) and it be the Sheraton La Jolla Hotel. The price during those dates is $166 per darkness, so i guess its not an option for you.
Bristol Hotel could be an odds for you. Its about $134 per dark on Hotels.com. Doubletree Club San Diego is another option. Its going for $127
I estimate you should go to Hotels.com and look for the hotels yourself. I dont really know what constituent of San Diego you will be in. I recommend staying away from those Inns and motels. Go for the better looking hotels that fit your price. If you want to find out what the check within age for the hotel is, just click on the hotel designation and then click on "show full description" Hotels.com usually list what the check in age is on respectively hotel's page in that nouns. As far as getting there, you can filch the bus (Greyhound, but i dont really recommend them because i've heard they arent adjectives that safe) take the train (Amtrak, if within is a stop near you) or even fly (Southwest Airlines serve San Diego and they hold good deal if you book early. check beside them to see if they serve the airport(s) near you)

The Pacific Shores Inn on Pacific Beach is really cheap. Around $70 a night and it's not a impossible place. Very simple, no frills. It's a good location too.
