Can anyone detail me more going on for the All Star Hotels at Walt Disney World?

I will be staying there contained by Dec and Jan and I was wondering what features of food they have in attendance. We are getting some type of vouchers to use for breakfast and dinner.

Also what is available at the All Star Hotels? I have small children. I conjecture you can pay extra for refrigerators contained by room. Are there any microwaves available? What more or less access to hot water? Any other hints or tips would be great?

Disney doesn't offer vouchers for meal. Perhaps you bought the mealplan? If that's the case beckon TODAY to get reservations for yourself, (407-WDW-DINE) otherwise the table-service credits are going to be useless to you as walk-ups are concrete to get. Even very soon at this late time you may be forced to be flexible near what is available as they allow restaurants to book 180 days out and people know this and do telephone call that far in mortgage.

The All-Star resorts are pretty much no frills, but lots of fun, especially for kids. Fridges are 10.00 per day. No microwaves as far as I know. What would you involve hot water for besides showering?

Go to http://www.disboards.com for lots of oblige (it's a bulletin board) The Unofficial Guidebook by Sehlinger/Testa is also helpful, but at this point you'd be better stale using disboards.
They are the cheapest hotels on Disney property and as key as can be. There aren't microwaves or restaurants there although they do enjoy a "simple" food court. You may be able to clear extra charge per night for a fridge but it's generally a medicinal type college sized refrigerator (smaller than a regular small fridge). You can certainly acquire hot water from the sink stroke although FL water is kinda gross.
If you are allowed to you, use the food vouchers to explore some of the other resorts at Disney - most of the deluxe hotels at Disney approaching grand floridian hold great character breakfasts and dinners.
We just get back from staying at All Star Movies. It be great. We have stayed near before. The food is moral. I love the make your own salads and the pizza within the food court. Refrigerators are I believe $10 a day to rent. Not worth it. We have one the last time we stayed and we never used it. It come with the room. There are toaster ovens and microwaves within the food court. They are near the public house. Hot water... I guess you could microwave some if you want it. Have a great trip. We did.
adjectives star resorts are the cheapest way to run, but very convenient and comforable. hot dampen, hot chocolate and hot coffee are all available at the food court. they start on around six in the morning and close at midnight. if you buy one of their souveneir mugs for $12.95 you will own free refills at the food court for your entire trip. The hamburgers are $6.59, double cheeseburgers more. Kids spaghetti is in the region of $4.50 per plate,adults$11.50
and a large pepperoni pizza is around $16.00. they have a few sandwich and other items as well, they run from $6.50-12.00. The best best to accumulate a little money is to move about to walmart and get some key snacks, and pay the $10.00 per year for the refrigerator. (its a ssmaller size). the rooms dont have microwaves, but the food court does. it also have a toaster, and free condiments (butter, jelly, ketchup, mustard, mayonaise, etc...)the all star resorts are serious rooms, providing two beds, tv, shower, toilet, and phone. nearby is an internet connection for $10.00 per 24 hours available surrounded by the room. the all star resorts own an on-site place to wash clothes, $2.00 washers, and $2.00 dryers. Bring your own powder, or you can be overcharged by their vending apparatus. you can ask at the check in center for a map to wal-mart, which is merely about 5 miles from the resort. they enjoy wal-mart prices, and even have some disney souveneirs $6.50 kid's shirts and $11.00 adults. They enjoy heated swimming pools and playgrounds. I know you will be excited to get to the park, but do explore your resort a short time! let me know if you hold specific questions, I'd be glad to give support to!
We just get back from All Star Music final night. It be the best. Email me And I will answer all your question. We have a 4 year feeble. I do have pic, It be our first time I I did a lot of planning. I own web site that eill abet too.

All Star resorts are great. The rooms are basic, no frills. The pools are awesome and the food courts are excellent, great hotchpotch and choices.
The accomodations at Disney's All Star Resorts are great for the price. Food near is so-so, but if its free, you can't complain too much, right? It is your typicall food court style food - hamburgers, hotdogs, etc... but they also offer vigorous items like chicken salads, fruit and yogurt parfaits, etc... fresh fruit and snacks are other available as well. Disney is completely accomodating. So if you need hot marine, just ask and they will be optimistic to oblige.

The pools are a lot of fun and adjectives themed. My personal favorite pool of the All Stars is the Calypso pool, found at All Star Music. The great thing just about the All Star is that you can pool hop without a problem! The All Star Sports have great open areas for young at heart children to run around and play (with a soft, cushy and safe surface below them), so unquestionably head on over here.

You will be closest to Disney's Animal Kingdom Park and farthest away from the Magic Kingdom. Epcot and the Disney-MGM Studios are around half-way so you can time travel on Disney's transportation busses.

Do make a few dining reservations for the meal not covered on your vouchers. I recommend the following:

Boma-Flavors of Africa - Animal Kingdom Lodge. A great buffet featuring African, Egyptian, & American food! My fave restaurant on adjectives of Disney property!

Cape May - Disney's Beach Club Resort - a great seafood buffet

Ohana's - Disney's Polynesian Resort - a buffet that comes to you with amazing view of the Magic Kingdom and the lagoon!

50s Prime Time Cafe - a great family atmosphere at the Disney-MGM Studios.

Call 407-WDW-DINE to be paid your reservations - I recommend you do that very soon.

That's a savings of $132 (or 25%) per full-size! Valid for stays most nights Jan 1 - 17 and Jan 21 - Feb 13, 2008 surrounded by a standard room at select Disney Value Resort hotels.
I hold stayed at the All Star Movies and Pop Century and the food is nothing to brag around. We got a refrigerator the first pop in, but rarely used it. As for microwaves, near are none in the room. You will enjoy to walk to the dinning nouns for one. I am not sure what you mean by access to hot dampen, of course hot river is in every room.

Ask for priority room the facility is huge, if you are within the back expect a hick to the transportation center, dining nouns and main desk.
The rooms have 2 double bed. The bathrooms feature a standard tub/shower combo. You'll enjoy a few drawers, a tv, and a small table with 2 chairs.

You can see resort map at this site: http://www.willcad.org/disney_maps.html#...

You can find profoundly of good information around All-Star Movies (abbreviated ASMo) on this site:

Alot of it will apply to any of the All-Star Resorts.
