Florida jellyfish season?
will be in orlando at the bring to a close of April but may go to Clearwater or Miami, is the finishing of April Jellyfish season?
Answers:
Jelly fish do not own a season, their movement is governed by the movements of the tides instead.
I seen copious Jellyfish when I was surrounded by Key West just yesterday.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I've never heard of a jellyfish "season". I cogitate it's best to know what jellyfish have be spotted at the beaches you are visit (if any) by looking for posted signs near lifeguard stations. You should other do this at any beach during any time of the year, in recent times to be safe. It's also sometimes on the local report - especially if Portuguese Man of War have be spotted. Here is a good informational pattern page on Florida Jellyfish.

I live within Daytona Beach, FL and have never really hear of a Jellyfish "season". There are always jellyfish, and sometimes they can be worse, so the lifeguards put up a flag to inform you. =)
