How cold does it go and get within New Orleans within the winter? Does it very soon?

Summers can extent from 70s (degrees F) to upper 90's, but will feel greatly hotter because almost all of the time the humidity is 100%.
Winters can win down to the lower 20's occasionally, but 30's most of the time. In the 25 years I lived there, I estimate it snowed 2 or 3 times, but rarely collected on the ground for more than a few hours.
,The coldest months are Jan/ Feb. Winter temps. average in the 40's- 50's ,ocassionally beside lows in the 30's.
I live roughly an hour from N.O. and we have give or take a few the same temp. It vary. We have a couple of days of freezing weather, however, I never owned a coat until I moved away, b/c even though it might be 32 surrounded by the morning by the afternoon it was contained by the 60's, now that's for the winter months.
I enjoy a rule, I do not visit N.O. anytime between April and October b/c the steam is so oppressive. Literally it will wear you to the sidewalk. It's commonly in the 90's, sometimes it will hit the hundred easy target, but the humidity level is almost other around a low of 80% to 100%. The only item that comes to mind is oppresive.
Good luck, it is a fun city though, although I will admit I hold not been since Katrina except to be in motion to the airport and my husband has be to the dome to see the Saints. Other than that, we have not venture out.
It rarely get below freezing in New Orleans proper surrounded by the wintertime, but because we have big humidity year-round, it makes it FEEL much colder/hotter than it really is. For example, if it is 40 degree F. outside, with a 20mph curl and 60% humidity, believe me, you WILL feel it, and it will travel right thru you if you don't layer up. I ruminate the average high heat in winter within New Orleans ranges from mid-50s to lower 60s. Lows usually range from 50s to 40s.
Unless you are somewhat used to giant humidity and HOT temperatures, I would not recommend coming to New Orleans contained by summer, as the heat and humidity are BRUTAL. It is usually 70%-90% humidity surrounded by the AM in summer, especially during July and August. The actual warmth mid-day is usually in the mid-upper 90s, beside the heat index very well over 100 degrees, close to, anywhere from 105-115, and that's dangerous.

Same here.I live roughly an hour or two away from New Orleans.I watch the weather dike everyday when I wake up(6 am),and it's other in the 40's.It be 32 on Monday morning.But when I get home(3 pm),the heat is always surrounded by the low 50's or middle 60's.So in the mornings it's other 40's and in the afternoon it's other around 60.
the answer u aim... is a tricky one simply cuz ur version of cold or hot is a lil different afterwards ours.. because of our humidity 90 degrees is probably nearly 100 wherever ur from... trust me it sucks... unmarked orleans weather is CRAZY.. 1 day is 90 the subsequent it could be 50. its realli all over the place to be honest.. except within the summer its hot as hell and with the humidity ull be appreciative u dont have that kinda warmness wherever ur from.. cold? it get around 60 to to 30 average... but with the humidity it feel worse...
to be honest with u. if u come to unusual orleans come prepared with clothing to fit any type of weather...
I live in N.O. Some years we never procure below freezing. Once or twice temp was surrounded by the teens. Jan. & Feb. usually cold. We call cold anything below 65. I enjoy seen it snow here single once, and it was damp and mushy. The summers are in the 90's, next to very elevated humidity, so perspiration does not evaporate, and you feel miserable. Summer is from May to October. It is very soon November, and 80 degrees outside.
today it's 80 outside, it really sucks.
