Not sure of the average snow fall that Chicago have had so far, but permit me just vent for a while and say that I am really sick of this philosophical freeze that we are having. I don't remember it one so bad. It seem that once we finally reach a elevated of 40-50 degrees and start to melt up, the next year it is -6 degrees next to 2-4inches of snow on the ground. How long until Spring??
I live surrounded by Northeast Wisconsin and Green Bay is about to break the account for all time snow plummet. We're only a few inches away.
Here within Michigan it's been pretty impossible too... at one point it when from the ground being covered within inches of snow, to it being completely out in the open, then put a bet on to covered in snow within a course of about four days. It is adjectives just really odd
While I don't live anywhere near within (I am in Utah), I can honestly enunciate we haven't had a winter as doomed to failure as this one in more than ten years. We have one in the precipitate 90s that was close to this--the snow in our front patio was up to my hips adjectives winter long. The only common sense we don't have that problem again this year is because we live contained by a different place, and our house not only face south, but has a accurate, clear area for the sun to achieve in and unfreeze stuff when it makes one of its irregular appearances.

We started out beside January temperatures contained by November, so I knew we be in for a horrid one. Unfortuately, I was right.

On the bright side, the skiers are have a good time...

And I am going to the Middle East subsequent month, where there's no snow...
It's almost as if winter is trying to manufacture up for the last 6 or 7 years of mild winters surrounded by one winter. Of course, I was around for the Blizzard of '79 surrounded by Chicago and the freeze of '86, not to mention the 22" New Year's snowfall in 1999, so I've have my adventures.

Notice how Al Gore isn't anywhere near these parts right in a minute? People would probably beat the crap out of him.
in northern illinois we've have almost 100 in this year and closing year we only have 13 inches
85 inches of snow, and I thought we (Chicagoans) have it bad. Actually I don't mind it. I don't know why culture complain to be honest. It's the midwest, in the winter it's going to snow and catch COLD! It's not your first winter! Hahaha, don't like it, move to the West Coast lol. Just consider, in 5-6 weeks we'll be surrounded by light jacket and maybe even shorts! Weird, and merely how I like it! I couldn't live anywhere that didn't attain snow in December (which make everything festive for the holidays).
Actually folks I'd like to thank you for taking on our snow - Minnesota have had just about any snow this year - all go south. But if it's too bad contained by Madison - just dance to Ella's Deli and get a Grilled PoundCake Turtle Sundae - Yum!
