What are the coolest things to see and do contained by the San Francisco firth nouns at christmas time and unsullied years?
We have 3 boys, 7, 11, & 14. we love the outdoors but would also close to to make this trip extra attractive for the kids. What is there to do for different years eve? I also would like to implement rather romance for my wife because this is also our first anniversary. We will be staying in Pleasanton but we hold rented transportation. A day travel, a show, a drive or any activity that would be fun for the boys. Thank you for any suggestion.

go to Union Square.
New Years Eve may be tricky, since a lot of the deeds planned on that night cater to the 21 and over set.
My best suggestion would be to take a take a cable saloon ride. Get on at the Powell/Market turnaround (tickets are sold there) and and take the Powell/Hyde route. That'll rob you right past Union Square, which will be ornamented for the holidays. Very pretty sight to see. Once you receive to the Hyde turnaround, you'll be Aquatic Park near Ghiradelli Square. Stop for some rime cream, or cocoa, whichever you prefer.

The tilden park contained by Berkeley hill is especially nice decorated surrounded by merry go-around, stream train , horse back ride and nice trail.
Want some romantic? sunset or darkness bay cruise to see the city skyline and 1 hr drive to napa gorge to have wine tang and calistoga spa.
