I believe the Zoo is free. Forest Park Is pretty big and has lots of hiking areas and picnic. The Metro Link is pretty satisfactory to ride. You can go beneath the arch there is a museum and be awhile but possibly go up surrounded by the arch. Union Station where they have the 1908 World's fair is presently a interesting shopping center. Bass Pro Shop & Cabelas if your into outdoor stuff. A person can stroll around down by the waterfront if you like looking at mature buildings. Science center out hwy 40 for the kids.
