Answers:
That would be one long drive
according to MapQuest, it's 122 miles, or 1 hour 50min, from Calexico to San Diego
Well, it all really depends on how u drive... I used to live surrounded by Calexico, with my familial...Of course, now I am married, and I live immediately in San Diego, next to my Hubby and son..Though, Hubby is currently deployed... Anyhow... It takes me, and also my Hubby when he drives, just about an hr. and a half to gain to Calexico from SD, and vice versa...But that is, if we are going between 75-80 mph... And, if within is no traffic...Well, there is other some kind of traffic here contained by S.D., but as long as it's steady, it takes us almost an hr. and half... If u drive from Calexico to SD everyday due to work, consequently good luck keeping up near ur gas expenditure! Not to mention, u say that u plan to move to Calexico around May or so, and to be precise when the fun part begin! Meaning, SUMMER is here during that month! And if u have neverrr be to the Imperial Valley in the summer up to that time, it's a hell hole! It sometimes gets up to 122 degree or so! And when u make that sympathetic of drive from Calexico, to SD and back, don't be surprised if ur engine overheats, which by the method, is veryyyyyy common contained by the Imperial Valley, due to the hot weather like I mentioned... There is ppl within Calexico that live there, but work contained by SD, and make the drive everyday..But I know alot of ppl also, that instead of driving support and forth from CLX to SD, they just rent a room within someone's house or whatever, stay in attendance for the work week (Monday-Friday), and come home to Calexico only on weekends..This save them the drive and of course, the money spent on gas and such.. It ain't effortless, but some ppl do it that way. I couldn't intuitively do that, just see my family unit on weekends, ALTHOUGH, of course, I enjoy gone through 3 deployments already with my Hubby, but still, it ain't natural to be apart from ur family. Anyhow. I hope my answer help u out..As u can see, if u want to make the drive, jump for it... But, u will be spending ALOT of money on gas, it will be during the summer time, so therefore, brutal on ur car's engine, u would hold to leave to progress to work to SD really early, beside the possibility of running into SD traffic, and when there is accident on the freeways out here, watch out also, cuz next u would end up arriving slow at ur work destination... Believe me, it has happen to me before, but when I be going to school. Weigh adjectives ur options/possibilities, and I hope that u can come up with a virtuous plan of action..Good luck!
It is too far! With gas prices the track they are you would have to enjoy a great job within San Diego that would pay twice as much as a duty in your local nouns. Don't do it!
Well that's comparatively a drive..why not just move to San Diego?
