. What to do surrounded by Phoenix?
I'm leaving for Phoenix Az subsequent week to see my bf, while he is at work; I'm alone to entertain myself, what is in that to do in Phoenix? Apart from sitting on their mortified buses (I drive but have not taken my trial yet) for hours to get to one destination. My end visit be great because I had my daughter next to me, (not this time) I don't necessarily want to do the typical tourist thing; I freshly need to do something to slay time. So what can I do solo?

I once hear Phoenix described as a place where not a soul has lived near long enough to know where on earth anything is.
I lived there for seven years and realize there be nothing at hand.
There's a movie theater just east of you on Bell at 34th Street.
It might help to know exactly where on earth you are staying...what part of town.do you close to to shop...lots of great malls all over the vale. Do you like museums, Phoenix, Scottsdale and Glendale adjectives have some great museums, we haver hose parks and small amusement parks (castles and coasters, fiddlesticks etc.)...give me a clue what you savour and I'll give you some tips!
See relationship below to buy bus passes.
From 16th Street and Bell Road you could stir to the Paradise Valley Mall at Tatum & Cactus.
If you just delight in a walk, thieve off going south on 16th Street in the region of 3 miles down (you could probably take the bus here) you will find the Lookout Mountain Preserve...great personality trails and other things to do...see link below.
I won't recommend any museums since they are "crap" but I never expected anyone to compare Western Artists, the Native Americans and what not to the Grand Masters.
You might savour a day trip to the Arizona Science Center or a tour of the University of Phoenix Stadium.
Have fun while you are here and drink plenty of wet.
It have changed a lot since the ultimate time you were out consequently, it's nothing close to that now.
that area have changed alot we dont have those helpful of things there except for shopping arcade and dont know of any there
similar to walks?
obtain a friend and walk up camelback mountain. pace around the Arizona Center... around Van Buren & 7th street. that downtown area is nice.
If you haven't already, please shift to Old Town Scottsdale. It's full of unique art gallery featuring art range from Old West to Contemporary. May not be London but you will certainly have delusions you've never seen in the past. Plus, the Fashion Square Mall and Waterfront are a short walk away if that's more your style. Biltmore nouns is cool too...bus stops there.
If you want a angelic view of DT Phx, dance to Point Tapatio and walk up to the Pointe of View restaurant for an Iced Tea. It's not far from where on earth you're staying. See link. Stay cool!
Nobody mentioned the Phoenix Zoo. And if you don't want to do the typical tourist thing, see if nearby are any museums at ASU where they're displaying any Hohokam or Sinagua artifacts.
wow sort of ominous part of town to be contained by , 16th st and bell is an area we referr to as "the square" i sure hope you don't spill out victim to crime while you're here to be exact a great location for falling victim to crime, ive lived here my unharmed life and am adapted with that nouns as i had to work around here for a few years, its one of the worst parts of town. there are some newer homes surrounded by that area but building nice exotic homes in the square is a bit similar to polishing a terd .
anyway as far as things to do... the closest place of interest to you would be Paradise Valley Mall and the shops around there, but if your anything similar to me you might think shopping is boring and not consider it "something to do" really honestly nil about phoenix is going to appeal much to someone from the U.K. Phoenix is a moment ago a big dirty hot city. getting out of phoenix and visiting northern arizona would be something worth your time though, if you can rent a motor for a day principal up to Jerome, its an hour and a half drive but its surely worth it, its an old mining town clinging to the side of a steep mountain its really interesting and full of oddity people and artists, the top of the mountain that Jerome is built on is covered surrounded by massive ponderosa pines and about 20 degree or more cooler then surrounded by phoenix. totally worth your money to rent a car or find a friend to purloin you up there for a time trip.youryour right to avoid bussessses there ridicules but if dontdont drive next its either that or hackney carriage service thatshats expensive. your bf should move to a better chahahaha very bad terrible place this is.
