What is fun to do in attendance besides the usual tourist spots??

I haved lived here for about 2-3 months presently...
the market, underground tour, and ship ride are the coolest things I have done so far while downtown.
Most of the really interesting stuff seem to be outside of the city (roughly 1 hour drive or a 3 hour drive)

The space plunger is never crowded on week days and Sometimes there are fair right next to it, similar to almost completely empty and cheap.
