Recommend Maui or Kauai for a wedding/honeymoon?
We're planning a Sept/Oct wedding this year (just the two of us) and looking at any Maui or Kauai. I understand that both are striking, but that Kauai is more secluded (which we like), but we don't want to sacrifice option solely for that sake. Any opinions? Also on sides of respectively island to stay on for best chance of dry weather - thankfulness!

i went to kauai surrounded by 2007 for my honemoon...Its so beautiful..we stayed within princeville -sealodge condos d7 it was awesome the spectacle was gorgeous but i think maui is best for you if you dont want rainfall..it rained 3 of the 5 days we be there bad and on but we still had a great time.
Actually the raining season contained by Hawaii starts about the call a halt of October and goes through January, though it's lately a rule of thumb. You can get precipitation or sun anytime. The north shore of all islands, especially Kauai, get more rain than south shores. This is why the north shores are lush and green.
The rainfall doesn't stop people from going to Kauai. I've be going to the north shore of Kauai for 25 years and enjoy it any time of year.

Kauai by far.more romantic
for Dry weather.pick Maui!!
Maui is greatly romantic and fun!! Perfect for honeymooners!
Kauai is great! It offer many things to do and is smaller amount crowded.
Maui definately is better.
I LOVE Maui!! I was within two years ago for my honeymoon at the 4 seasons, birth to mid Sept! It was great and would be a exquisite place to get married. We plan on renewing our vows in attendance in 8 more years!
Maui, Four Seasons.
If you want dry weather, forget Kauai then. sep/oct is the begining of the raining season over within. It is more secluded which make the islands even more beautiful and they hold fun activities you could do to see the best slice of the islands. Maui would be your best choice if you want dry weather. Maui is more of the touristy island where theres so much to do. its more crowded too but its also fine. Dry weather or not i would pick kauai, its way more wonderful then maui and you can see it everyday when it rain or shines up there.
