Is there any beach near Texas A&M University (College Station)? Can anyone give an account me the direction of how to get at hand? I want to see if the place is good for surfing. Thanks alot!

Texas A&M-Galveston is on the island of Galveston. While many surrounded by Galveston proclaim to be surfers, the surfing action in attendance is poor. Rarely, it is surfable, usually due to tropical storm activity.
Something to look into i.e. unique surrounded by the surfing world and exists in Galveston Bay is get up surfing. To help you visualize the Texas coast, the further south you move about down the coast, the nicer the water. Corpus Christi on down to Padre Island have prettier water and better surge action than on the upper Texas coast, such as Galveston, Surfside, or Bolivar peninsula.

Nope, the closest beach is Galveston and it's in the order of 3 hrs from college station. And if you go, the solitary good place to surf is Surfside which is just about 3.5 hr. from College Station. Head South onto HWY. 290 and east towards Houston then bear I-45 down to Galveston.
