Yes, & I enjoyed it drastically much. If you want nightlife & a lot of goings-on, it may not be for you. But if you looking more for natural attractiveness & outdoors activities, it's probably the best place on Oahu. The north shore is gorgeous, and nearby is so much to see & do there. If you enjoy kids, the tide pools near the hotel will hold them entertained for hours, looking for outsider crabs & tiny fish. The beaches on the north shore are incredible. There are activites resembling horseback riding & parachuting or glider rides. Haleiwa has fun shops & some polite restaurants. Hey, I want to go up for a long weekend!
Yup. The north shore of Oahu is very wonderful and way smaller amount crowded. You should understand though that it will be approach more laid back nearby than near Honolulu. No darkness life or restaurants really outside of the resort. Be sure to check out the town of Haleiwa and progress to Motsomotos for some really good snow cones. Also in that is a really good Thai restaurant on the West run out of town. Also turtle bay is not to far from the Polynesian cultural center, a great place to swot about adjectives the south pacific culture and to take surrounded by a Lua. Have Fun! Btw the beaches on that side of the island are course less crowded and much more good-looking.
