Summers - Cooler near the beach, often foggy surrounded by the morning and evening. Inland - hot. Rarely does it rain within summer.
Winter - Mild during the day, chilly at hours of darkness, especially inland. It does freeze in inland areas, but not usually in the vicinity the coast. Occasional rain most years, lots of rainfall in El Nino years.
Spring and drop - either of the above, varying daylight to day.

It have sprinkled twice this year and everyone was running around yell "the sky is falling" We had two days of humidity from a rainless storm from Mexico. Snow is machine-made. T shirt weather during the afternoon 11 months out of the year. Weather is rarely an issue for anything.

It's glorious. It's shoreline weather at least 5 months out of the year. We only stopped going in the the deep at the beach approaching two weeks ago. Today it barely drizzled for in the region of 30 seconds. It's lovely year round really - no extreme hot or cold times - livin' the dream baby, livin' the dream!!
