Where is the funnest place to live contained by the LA nouns?
I'm moving to LA soon. I think I will be working surrounded by either Santa Monica or Culver City (or that area). Where is a really fun, but not detrimental, neighborhood to live in that will be a wearing clothes commute. My roommate thinks we should look at the West Hollywood nouns? What do you think?
Answers:
You want to commute in LA...sorry dangle on...I'm laughing...You better live above or next door to where on earth you work in L.A. or you will spend alteast an hour on the freeway no situation where you turn...
The funnest place is where on earth ever I am.
Other than that, either a shoreline community, Pasadena or WeHo are good choices.
Silverlake is up and coming, too, I've hear.
uhm, Disneyland
If you work in the westside...DO NOT COMMUTE!! within is no such thing as a 'decent commute' to the westside! If money is not an issue, afterwards santa monica near basic street or venice near abbott Kinney is great!! AGAIN..DO NOT COMMUTE!
Compton...
haha west hollywood! are you gay?
Unless you're homophobic, West Hollywood is a excellent choice. Great shopping at the Beverly Center. Good restaurants adjectives around. And the (mostly straight) Sunset Strip and (mostly gay) Santa Monica Blvd. are havens for nightlife.
Santa Monica itself is pretty lively. You might also want to look at Westwood (near UCLA), which have a 'college town' vibe to it.
All of these areas are upscale, safe, and right by your work radius.
To the south of Santa Monica, Venice Beach is uniquely bohemian and fun. Unfortunately, safekeeping is a concern there. It can grasp very shady, especially at night.
In Disneyland.
