What is the best mode to travel from Nord to Austerlitz within Paris during pinnacle hours, when I enjoy profusely of luggag

I will be travelling with three other relatives in mid April, and we will own a lot of luggages and will travel around 5:30PM from Nord to Austerlitze, to hold the train to Spain. Any one could tell me what is the best course, especially there is an elderly character among us? Should we take the underground, or should we bear the taxi? Are here escalators and lifts contained by these two stations so we do not need to climb stairs? Or if we embezzle the taxi, will in that be a lot of traffic doing a tour? We will only enjoy two hours to travel and if we cannot make it we will miss the train to Spain, please somebody relief and provide us information. thanks greatly.

The Taxi is the singular Feasible way of getting to your Station. I own tried the Metro with One Bag,a Heavy Bag. The turnstile contained by the Metro is to narrow and lifting the Bag is a Pig to do next to the Weight . I dont remember any Stairs or Escalators in Gare du Nord or Austerlitz, it be two Years ago I was surrounded by Paris. I was within France Twice, I went to Amsterdam Via Gare Du Nord. I be going to Bordeaux the Previous Year in 04 and go to Austerlitz by Mistake and then Had to turn to Gare Montparnasse for Bordeaux ,I did not see any Stairs in Austerlitz or Gare Du Nord.
Unless you are familiar next to the Metro a cab is the one and only way And yes here will be traffic and your driver will have two speeds, full on and stop.

There are unproblematic access routes, but I've never had to find them.

Another tip, present the driver the name of your station printed, in French.
Taxi definitely. There are stairs and escalators at Nord and Austerlitz and the Metro trains will be unbelievably crowded.
Although it will be rush hour, and the roads gridlocked, taxis can use the bus lane so avoiding the worst of the traffic.
I clearly recommend a taxi. Carrying colossal amounts of luggage on the Metro is difficult at any time, let alone at mount hours. Plus, you will have to use escalators and possibly stairs.

Two hours should be satisfactory using either a black cab or the Metro.
