I am anxious almost our break! Any suggestion?
My mom is taking me to Memphis TN this saturday and we are staying until Monday night. I be all excited because I love Elvis and find to go to Graceland and everything, plus I am touring Rhodes College here.
Then my friends told me that it had the great murder rate in the US and that crime run rampant. I am really scared very soon. Is it really that bad?
Our hotel is right across the street from Graceland. Is that a protected area?
Please communicate me I am over reacting or present me advice so I won't be surprised.

You'll be fine. And if you have the time, Shiloh National Military Park is smaller number than 90 minutes away - it is a terrific national historical site.

you're overreacting. Like most cities, crime surrounded by Memphis is confined to certain neighborhoods and across the world occur between citizens who are already criminals or drug users. Rarely does anything happen to innocent bystanders or tourists, even within the most dangerous of American cities. Tourist areas tend to be the safest parts of town. Don't verbs about it b/c zilch will happen to you.

You do not need to be worried.. Tenn. does not own the highest crime rate! It is undamaging.
Tnn. is sooo fun. You will have so much fun.
I'm from the south, and own been nearby lots of times. There is so much to do..

All of my loved ones lives in Memphis and the crime rate near is very high-ranking. I don't think you should be afraid to jump, but just constantly be aware of your surroundings. I would not be comfortable staying around Graceland. If it's not too belatedly to change your reservations, you would probably be better rotten staying around the Wolfe Chase Mall area. I pop in Memphis quite normally and have never have any problems. Good luck with Rhodes College.

Graceland is really fun- especially if you close to Elvis. They have really worthy burgers and chili fries!

It is a bigger city, so yes the crime rate increases. However, it's just resembling any other time you are in an unknown area. Just be aware of your surroundings and pay attention. I think you will be merely fine.
