Cheapest august canyon tours from Vegas?
I'm going for a vacation to Vegas July 15-21 and I've hear you can negotiate the price for either an nouns or bus tour to the grand canyon if you keep on until you get near as opposed to trying to reserve on file. Any thoughts or ideas as to the best and cheapest means of access to do it? Anyone know of any promotions or discounts? Any help appreiciated. Thanks.

Some passengers on one of those tours to the west rim said they compensated $150 each to turn there and they get a cheesy plastic wrapped sandwich for their lunch. They also had their vehicle break down on the road so they had to dally 3 hours for a replacement vehicle to come get them.
You can rent a saloon and drive to the south rim (much more beautiful) in just about 3.5 hours (about the same amount of time it take to get to the west rim) - beside the high cost of gas, you can probably pay cheque about equal amount as one person's fare on the tour.
The only foundation to go to the west rim very soon is the glass thingie where on earth you can walk out over the rim and look down - but it costs $50 respectively, I think, and you can attain the same sort of vertigo from the top of the Stratosphere for below $20.
