Best method of getting from san diego to los angeles?
of course, on a budget. what are my option?
Answers:
Cheapest is Megabus - can be as low as $1, but more comfortable would be Amtrak at $29.
Train , but if you do have to drive in recent times go the speed consideration and go north ( haha )
just 405 north..straight ahead and soak up if you are driving...or take a bus and the cheapest mode but a little harmful just hitchhike..obedient luck and enjoy.
Amtrak and ask for a discount
I would of late drive. Just go straight through Camp Pendleton and you're at hand.
405
AMTRAK
Take the Coaster to Oceanside. Get on MetroLink from Oceanside to L.A.. If you are disabled it cost smaller amount than $14 round trip. When you get to L.A. your MetroLink ticket is well-mannered for a one way trip on the subway or any bus.

L.A. is still 60 miles after Camp Pendlton.
This route will save you money over Amtrak. The with the sole purpose other cheap way to shift is Greyhound. And the bus station in L.A. is on skid row.
On a budget, the Amtrak
damn if i know.
