Does anybody work contained by Rochester and live contained by NYC. I might own to...?

There are people that live surrounded by New Haven and feel their commute is long. I judge it is fair to say-so that you are the ONLY person that lives contained by NYC and has to commute to Rochester. It must be a DARN accurate job that you are competent to do that, because I couldn't do it.
As other posters have said, and I agree...it would be cheaper for you to relocate and stay surrounded by the Greater Rochester area. I know guaranteed parts of Rochester you would have to avoid (West Side of the Inner Loop)...but you can without doubt look into suburban (Greece, Chili, Brighton, Irondequoit, Penfield, Henrietta).
You're better past its sell-by date moving to Rochester and going to the city once a month for a long weekend. It'd be cheaper and you'd have tons of money to blow that one weekend a month. Rochester is in actuality a nice city with some lovely/hip neighborhoods. Give it a try... you can other move back. If you enjoy a great apartment sublet the puppy.
Just bite the bulet and move up to Rochester for a few years. You're nutz to even regard as of going back and forth. Unless you get a real cheap apt surrounded by the city.
WOW are you willing to formulate such a commute that is 335 Miles and in the region of 6 hours by car holy crap
I'm sure it could be done, I know someone who does the opposite (lives surrounded by a suburb outside of Rochester and works in NYC, he flies home on the weekends) but I don't suggest that it would be much fun. Rochester is a really great city and it might just be a better notion to live there while you verbs to look for another job closer to NYC. If you be to fly, and maintain a residence surrounded by both locations it would probably get to be a bit expensive, time consuming (even though the flight itself is only nearly 57 minutes, you still have to capture to the airport early plenty to make it through security), and exhausting. I agree beside the previous poster who suggested going to NYC maybe once a month, and spending the rest of the time surrounded by Rochester. Rochester has some really nice areas within the city, as well as lovely suburbs and is really affordable, especially compared to NYC.
