Depends, if you don't need to move about anywhere outside of Santa monica, all you stipulation is either a bike or roller blades or skate board. They even own places that rent them if you're just visit but I don't remember what the cost is so you might want to pack some roller blades if you can. It's almost always sunny and reheat there. I love it. If you call for to leave the city, you'll want to see any about motor pooling with a friend or public transportation.
