Savannah is the home to food introduce yourself star Paula Dean. I understand that they enjoy tours there that show stuff from her. (I.E.: Her restaurant, her home, ect.) That could be something that you can do. Visit the tourism board. They can backing you find some things to do. One thing that you want to manufacture time for is going down by the water! It's wonderful. (I used to live contained by Georgia near in that, but have not be back contained by a long time.)

Savannah is one of the most beautiful cities within America. There are many great tours by horse drawn horse-drawn carriage (very romantic) Take a tour of the city to fully understand what it have to offer. Eat at the Pirates House (an behind the times saloon used by pirates to bring locals drunk and take them by underground tunnel to ships and yoke them) the food is amassing. Go to Ft. Pulaski (built by Robert E. Lee) it is a fine example of a Civil War era fort. There is also a haunted tour (Savannah is known for its haunted houses) the haunted tour is exceptionally cool. Take a boat tour to Dafuski Island, it is a barrier island inhabited by the decedents of former slaves (very nice) The nightlife contained by Savannah is nice, the riverfront has several nice pubs/eateries (the souvenir shopping is apposite during the day)
One of the best things to do in Savannah is to see Savannah itself, give somebody a lift a trolley tour that will take you through the city, check out the great restaurants on the riverfront, explore the civil period of war battlefields, revise about the dull voodoo past of the cemetery. Trust me, the beautiful architecture and historic buildings will evacuate you breathless.
I once took a self-guided walking tour of the downtown plaza and nearby neighborhoods. If I have prepared with map and a bit of history it would have made it sooo much better.
My daughter and I went several years ago and the top 3 things for her be:
1. Walking thru old Savannah, parks, houses, shops.
2. Boat tour on the River(get your picture taken)
3. Eat...lotsa righteous food all around downtown.
You can also hike the area where on earth they filmed "Midnight within the Garden of Good and Evil"
The St Patrick's Day parade is on the 14th and its a must see! I doubt you'll still be contained by town then but its a great experience if you are.
The Hearse Tours are really popular as are the trolley tours, horse drawn horse-drawn carriage rides, and graveyard tours. Walking in the squares is fun and you should def check out the downtown area/River St...great places to shop and drink around there. The hold river boat rides down on River St as well. You might want to check out Tybee Island as very well...they have fully clad beaches and some cool shops to check out...you also won't be far from Hilton Head Island if you want to build a day trip out that method (nice beaches/classy restaurants/etc.).

My husband and I went, we stayed at the coast (Tybee Island). It was contained by February also but it was nice and thaw out so we could walk on the coast. We then ate dinner on the Riverwalk and have lunch at a restaurant called "The Crab Shack". We spent time at a churchyard. It was so cool. I love the history. It be really romantic. That's not strange, is it?
