The thing going on for Hawaii is that you have adjectives of the above on Oahu! You have lower income homes you enjoy a lot of Middle and some High. The lofty in come hopes are around Waikiki side, or Kaneohe, is extremely nice also but also high priced. A more mid-lever surrounded by come is Wahiawā, the home are a little smaller quantity and there are more local Hawaiians at hand then surrounded by the higher income areas that are mostly White and or Asian. There is a really good mixture of ethnicity's adjectives over the island. Like I said on Waikiki side you will find more of you whites and Asians that are tourists or well paid/retired residents. If you return with on the H1 and go into the middle of the Island you are going to find more of your locals and long occupancy residents. The best place I can tell you to look for a apt neighborhood would be Ewe beach which be a little run down but they own put a lot of time and application into rebuilding it. The prices have not gone to dignified but From what I hear they are trying to make it a particularly nice place to live. I have relations that lives in Wahiawā and If I could move here that's where I would want to be but if you guys don't know anyone in attendance it might be a little discomfited at first. Now like the other entity said Respect the locals and you should have no problem. Aloha and own fun. Its expensive but well worth it to live here.
which community are you referring to? which island? hawaii has a huge mixture of ethnicities. from wager on in the plantation days. i can't really share you too much about the cities and neighborhoods until i know which island you plan on moving to. it's undisruptive on most parts of the islands. all you hold to do is be yourself, be respectful and have fun! don't disrespect the locals and you should be fine! try man friends with them...usually if you are friends near a local and you are cool they'll have your pay for no matter what! honourable luck and aloha!

The only big city is Honolulu. Oahu is the foremost island. The other islands are for old retired folks. Reno is not the "Biggest little city in the world" Waikiki is! Waikiki is impressively safe 24 hours a daylight. There are more Asian peoples from all over than any other spot on the planet, and lots of white folks too. Your first trip, try to book(well within advance) at the hostel in Waikiki. They will hold room for gals when all the space for guys is full. Waikiki will be pricey otherwise. Waikiki is the place to see. Do not move about to Hawaii if you are not planning to walk around contained by your swim suite and go swimming. Waikiki is the place to see and be see.
