Where within LA is a Mall beside a Ferris Wheel or Roller Coaster?

In Santa Monica, there's a mall and 3rd St. Promenade, which is merely a few blocks from the pier which has a ferris controls and a small roller coaster.
As Techno74 reported, there's a Ferris Wheel at the Spectrum in Irvine. There are also plausible nice carousels at both Fashion Island and South Coast Plaza.
I'm not aware of any roller coasters, though.
